What is Men of Resolution?
Men of Resolution is a Christian men’s day in Cornwall, gathering men together in Jesus’ name for worship, Bible teaching, prayer, food and fellowship.
Who is it for?
The day is for men of faith, and men of none. Whether someone is already following Jesus, returning to church, exploring faith, or coming with a friend, they are welcome.
Do I need to be a Christian to attend?
No. The event is Christian in its teaching, worship and prayer, but men who are exploring faith or simply willing to come along with a friend are warmly welcome.
Is the event free?
Yes. Men of Resolution is free to attend. Lunch, tea, coffee and parking have also been provided free of charge. Donations are optional for anyone who would like to support the cost of running the day.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes, please do. We encourage men to invite a mate, family member, colleague or someone from church. When bookings are open, each person should book their own free place so catering numbers are accurate.
Where is the event normally held?
Men of Resolution has been held at the Pavilion Centre at the Royal Cornwall Showground, Whitecross, Cornwall PL27 7JE.
What happens during the day?
A typical day includes arrival and welcome, worship, multiple Bible teaching sessions, prayer, fellowship, tea and coffee, and a free lunch.
What should I bring?
You may wish to bring a Bible, notebook and pen, but there is no strict requirement.
